Wrong item received with no help

I was not only sent the wrong number on the back of the shirt I ordered but also the shirt from last season! I specifically waited to see what number the particular player was going to wear and then ordered. I reached out to customer services and was first told there’s nothing they can do about the number change (even though I had ordered the number I wanted and they had printed the wrong one) then an offer of a refund which was then revoked and told I can only have a replacement but I have now already repurchased so basically stuck with the same shirt I’ve already got from last season and no new shirt plus £103 down!! outrageous treatment for a fan that spends so much on the online shop and club as a whole😡

The worst selling strategy

I purchased the official Manchester United pink and purple goalkeeper shirt with “Lammens 31” printed on the back. Just a few days after placing my order, the club officially announced that Lammens’ squad number had changed from 31 to 1. I understand that squad numbers can change, but it is very disappointing to receive a brand-new personalised shirt that became outdated almost immediately—especially considering the additional cost of official printing. As the change was announced so soon after my purchase, I would appreciate it if Manchester United could offer a complimentary replacement or reprint with “Lammens 1”. This would be a fair gesture of goodwill toward supporters who purchased the shirt before the official announcement.
